In the data view we have the option to search inside the text fields of our data bases. It only works in list views.
First we have a list view where we will insert the search bar.
This search feature can be activated only in the list views selected(1). To activate and configure it, click on the magnifier icon in the view properties window on the right panel(2)(3).
We select the field where we want to search(4)(5). The search bar only appears in the upper position of the list.
The search engine will appear on the upper position of the list, but be careful, because the list appears empty until you set any word or number and tap the magnifier.
How to make sure an empty search bar doesn't show
To solve that problem, some people use a "fake" searcher, a view bar in a list without searcher view that points to a real searcher list view.
Create a new list view(1), set as the main(2), and select under view properties the view bars (3)(4). Notice that there are view bars and screen bars.
Create a new view bar(1), drag to the top of the view(2). and edit it(3).
Put a cropped image of the search bar there(1)(2), and set the action Go to the View that contains the real searcher (3)
Now the first list that appears should't be empty.
