The content of an App is text and image elements included in the App. This content can be stored inside the App or outside of it.
When content is stored inside the App, we refer to it as local content. Instead of defining the content locally, we just drag an element to the screen which refers to a URL, whose direction the actual content is stored. We are talking about remote data.
Remote data is normally stored on the Cloud where you can store all your remote data as images, databases, forms, or text items.
If you store data in a database, we are talking about dynamic data because the display of it depends on the data view created and it will be shown in one way or another depending on the design of that view. The database can be both local or remote but it's always dynamic. Learn more about databases in the database section of the articles. You can find more information about type of data in this section reading the "Type of data" article.
The best thing about remote data on the Cloud is that you can add registries to the databases or change any existing data. This change will be appreciated in the App without the user having to re-download your App. The App will work in a more fluid way and you will save space on the device. The only thing to keep in mind is that without internet the remote IMAGES will not be displayed, but texts will.
